Without Referees, It’s Just Recess!
When: June 25, 26, and 27 (Fri – Sun)
Where: Aloha, Beaverton and Valley Catholic High Schools
What you get:
The opportunity to referee some of the best Boy’s basketball teams in Oregon, California and Washington. You will receive game DVD’s and analysis. Games will be evaluated by top officials in Oregon. Evaluations are done using the OSAA State Tournament Evaluation Forms.
Last year’s guest speakers included: Howard Mayo (PBOA assignor and State Rules Interpreter), Kevin Brill, Pac 10 Official, Steve Scott (PBOA Evaluator).
All clinicians and evaluators have OSAA State Tournament experience. You are reviewed on the court by people who have worked from rookie status to state tournament level officials.
The games are competitive, the tournament is competitive. This is not a camp to decide if you are going to be a basketball referee, this is a camp for referee’s who want to make the jump to the top of your association.
This camp is OCEP certified. Campers are able to receive OCEP certification. T-Shirt, food & beverages will be provide, also a night on the town as a social event to network with evaluators, campers and speakers. Gear to bring: This is a full dress camp. Professionalism matters.
